FLIP FORCE GYMNASTICS PREPARES FOR THE LARGEST GYMNASTICS EVENT ON THE EAST COAST

Preparations are underway for the 3rd annual Greensboro Gymnastics Invitational 2012 hosted by Flip Force Gymnastics and Flip Force Booster Club. 1,700 athletes from over 8 states & 64 gyms will be competing in Boys & Girls Gymnastics, Power Tumbling and Trampoline. The ever growing competition will be held at the Greensboro Coliseum Special Events Center in Greensboro, NC on February 10th, 11th, and 12th.

1000 athletes from across the county attended the first Greensboro Gymnastics Invitational in 2010. This year’s event will showcase 1700 boys and girls gymnasts, the best power tumbling and trampoline teams and AAU athletes from Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, New Jersey, Illinois and Virginia.

Again this year at the Greensboro Gymnastics Invitational is the GYMNASTS CURING KIDSʼ CANCER fundraiser. In 2011 Flip Force Gymnastics teamed up with Curing Kids Cancer, a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to raise funds for cutting edge pediatric cancer research though fundraising efforts. Last year, Flip Force Gymnastics was able to raise $3,500.00 with the help of other attending gyms, donations from visiting families and friends. Earlier this year we challenged each gym to start collecting their pennies and to bring them to the GGI on Friday, February 10th. The Flip Force Booster Club will be donating $1 per admission ticket sold. 100% of the donations raised for the Gymnasts Curing Kids Cancer will be given to Brenner Children’s Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC.

Volunteers are needed to help throughout the weekend beginning Thursday, February 9th and ending Sunday evening, February 12th. $10 per adult

FREE admission for children ages 3 & under 

Schedule: Friday, February 10th 2:30pm - 9:15pm

Saturday, February 11th 8am - 9:20pm

Sunday, February 12th 8:30am - 4:30pm
